- Hamilton B.V on behalf of Claims Fund Europe in respect of litigation ensuing from the financial fraud committed by Steinhoff in 2017. Various financial institutions ceded their claims against Steinhoff to Hamilton. Hamilton commenced various proceedings in South Africa; including for declaratory relief as a challenge to Steinhoff’s settlement proposal. The value of the claim was in excess of ZAR 10 billion.
- A public entity in confidential arbitration proceedings against a foreign entity for a claim in excess of ZAR 500 million.
- A telecommunications company review and set aside a tender award by the South African Police Services, valued at ZAR 20 million a month.
- SANTS Private Higher Education Institution (Pty) Ltd in its claim against the Department of Education in Kwa-Zulu Natal for damages in the amount of approximately ZAR 36 million.
